Why choose this rack
The Tubus Disco is designed to solve a specific issue: mounting a rack on bikes with disc brakes where eyelets are not present, or where frame geometry makes installing a traditional rack difficult.
Unlike universal solutions, it retains Tubus’ steel construction, offering greater stability and predictability when used with panniers.
It is therefore a specific technical solution: more structured than universal racks, but designed to adapt to setups where standard mounting is not possible.

When it makes sense
The Tubus Disco is a good choice if:
your bike has disc brakes and cannot accept a standard rack
there are no rear eyelets
you want a more stable solution than universal racks
you use panniers for light to medium travel
It is a typical solution for adapting modern bikes to touring use.
When it does NOT make sense
frames already equipped with eyelets (traditional racks are preferable)
