Ridgeback Tour – affordable and fully equipped touring bike
The Ridgeback Tour is a touring bike designed to offer a functional, reliable and cost-effective platform for travel, daily commuting and long-distance riding on tarmac and secondary roads.
The 6061 heat-treated aluminium frame includes all the mounts required for mudguards, racks and bottle cages, making the Tour ready for touring straight out of the box.
Drivetrain
The Shimano Claris 3×8 drivetrain, with a triple chainset and an 11–32T cassette, provides a wide and easy-to-manage gear range, particularly suited to light touring and riding with luggage.
Braking
Promax mechanical disc brakes are chosen for their consistent performance and ease of maintenance, a practical solution for touring and everyday use.
Comfort and rolling efficiency
The Vittoria Randonneur 700×32 mm tyres are selected for durability and smooth rolling over long distances.
The riding position is comfort-oriented, suitable for extended time in the saddle rather than aggressive riding.
Equipment
The Ridgeback Tour is supplied with fitted mudguards and a rear pannier rack, allowing immediate use for touring or commuting without additional accessories.
