Intro
The Hook EXT C Apex AXS is built for riders who crave speed, versatility and the freedom to ride beyond the beaten path. Its T800 carbon frame lightens the load without compromising strength, while the full-carbon Seido MGV fork offers generous tyre clearance, internal routing and multiple mounting points — ideal both for fast gravel rides and for fully loaded bikepacking trips.
The wireless SRAM Apex AXS 1×12 drivetrain delivers seamless, low-maintenance shifting across a wide 11–50T cassette range, matched with hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power on varied terrain. The geometry is tuned to balance responsiveness and stability, making the bike comfortable over long distances while staying sharp on technical sections.
The Glossy Red finish completes the package with a bold, vibrant look that highlights the carbon frame’s lines. It’s a colourway for riders who want to be seen for their style as well as their speed — confident and expressive, without being excessive.

Technical Interpretation
The Hook EXT C offers very generous tyre clearance, with different limits at the frame and fork:
- In 650B mode, both frame and fork accept tyres up to 57 mm, allowing very high traction and comfort on demanding terrain.
- In 700C mode, the fork goes up to 57 mm, while the frame is limited to 45 mm — this rear value is the true limiting factor and must be respected.
This unlocks several effective setups:
- Fast setup: 700C with 40–45 mm tyres, ideal for fast gravel and long-distance riding.
- Adventure setup: 650B with tyres up to 57 mm, for maximum grip and comfort on rougher surfaces.
- Front-biased setup: in 700C, you can run a wider front tyre (within the 57 mm fork limit) and a narrower rear tyre (within the 45 mm frame limit) to balance control, rolling efficiency and safety.

¹ The bike size recommendation is intended as a general guideline to narrow down options based on rider height. Proper bike fitting is complex and should also consider additional body measurements and individual factors. Since no two riders are identical, these recommendations cannot be 100% accurate for everyone. The best way to determine your ideal size is to consult your Bombtrack dealer (info@bikejamming.it) or a professional bike fitter.
