The Bombtrack Arise is an essential, practical singlespeed that is easy to live with on a daily basis, but it has one feature that makes it especially interesting: it is already set up for an 11-speed conversion. That means it can be ridden straight away as a simple urban and light gravel bike, then easily upgraded into a true gravel bike built around a solid 4130 CrMo steel frame.
The single-speed setup keeps maintenance low, while disc brakes, thru-axles, fast-rolling wheels and generously sized tyres make it a platform suited to commuting and gravel use. Both frame and fork also feature mounts for fenders and racks, along with internal routing for lights / hub dynamo wiring.
Precisely because of this combination of entry-level price, frame quality and upgrade potential, the Arise was for a long time Bombtrack’s best-selling model in Europe.

Technical interpretation
The Arise makes particular sense as an intelligent platform. In its original configuration it is a clean singlespeed, easy to manage and well suited to urban use or simple gravel riding. At the same time, however, it was not conceived as a closed system: the frame already includes what is needed to move to an 11-speed drivetrain without structural modification, thanks to the derailleur hanger, dedicated cable routing and compatible rear hub.
The bike’s value therefore lies in the combination of immediate simplicity and real upgrade potential.
