Fargo Ti: the Fargo platform in titanium
When talking about the Fargo, you're talking about one of the platforms that helped define the modern concept of off-road bikepacking and mixed-terrain travel.
The Ti version doesn't exist to change that philosophy, but to bring it into the world of titanium.
The frame uses triple-butted seamless 3Al/2.5V titanium tubing and retains the characteristics that have made the Fargo a benchmark for riders travelling far beyond the pavement: stable geometry, high load-carrying capacity, generous tyre clearance and exceptional configurability.
It is a frame designed for riders who envision a bicycle that will remain at the centre of their travels for many years.
Why choose Fargo Ti
Fargo Ti should not be viewed simply as a lighter version of the steel Fargo.
The goal is different.
Titanium makes it possible to create a lighter platform, highly resistant to corrosion and characterised by a ride quality that many long-distance travellers appreciate.
Vibrations are naturally damped without compromising precision or control, especially when the terrain becomes rough and days in the saddle begin to stretch into many consecutive hours.
Titanium, not a fashion statement
In the world of travel bikes, titanium makes sense when the project is built around intensive use and long-term durability.
It requires no paint, resists corrosion exceptionally well and retains its characteristics even after years of use.
For this reason, many riders choose titanium not in pursuit of the lightest possible bike, but to build a bicycle intended to accompany them for tens of thousands of kilometres.
Cutthroat Carbon Deluxe Fork
The Cutthroat Carbon Deluxe fork is one of the components that contributes most to the Fargo's character.
Beyond its ability to absorb vibrations from rough surfaces, it offers multiple mounting points for bags, cargo cages and compatible low-rider racks.
Integrated abrasion-resistant plates in the areas most exposed to wear also help preserve the fork during demanding use and extended journeys.
Alternator and build freedom
One of the reasons the Fargo has become such a respected platform is the Alternator dropout system.
The frame can be configured with different drivetrains and build philosophies, allowing very different projects to be developed without changing platforms.
Common configurations include:
1x drivetrains for technical bikepacking
2x drivetrains for long-distance travel
Rohloff builds
Singlespeed configurations
Gates Belt Drive systems
Compatibility with multiple wheel and tyre standards further expands the platform's versatility.
Build ideas
Fargo Ti can be configured in very different ways depending on the project.

SON dynamo hub
Heavy-duty expedition rims
Technical bikepacking
1x12 drivetrain

FAQ
Is the Fargo Ti a gravel bike?
No. The Fargo was designed as a drop-bar mountain bike and sits much closer to the world of adventure touring and off-road bikepacking than to traditional gravel bikes.
Can I run a Rohloff hub?
Yes. The Fargo is one of the platforms most commonly used for Rohloff-based builds.
Can I use a suspension fork?
Yes. The frame is compatible with 100 mm suspension forks within the dimensional limits specified by the manufacturer.
Can I run plus tyres?
Yes. The frame is compatible with tyres up to 29 x 3.0" on sizes S–XL and up to 29 x 2.6" on size XS.
Does it make sense for very long-distance travel?
