Ritchey WCS Zeta GX 650b – Gravel and adventure wheels

The Ritchey WCS Zeta GX 650b wheels are designed for gravel and adventure setups focused on comfort, control and handling of uneven terrain.

The 25 mm internal rim width works best with higher-volume tires compared to more speed-oriented 700c setups, allowing lower pressures and greater shock absorption.

Available with Shimano HG, SRAM XDR and Campagnolo N3W freehubs.

Performance and use

The WCS Zeta GX 650b are oriented towards comfort and control, especially on gravel and uneven terrain.

Compared to faster-rolling 700c setups, the 650b diameter allows the use of higher-volume tires, increasing grip, stability and shock absorption. The 25 mm internal width supports lower pressures, improving bike handling on rough surfaces and under load.

The 36-point Ratchet system ensures precise engagement even at low speeds, useful in technical sections and situations where control matters more than speed. The 28-spoke J-bend construction maintains high reliability and ease of service, even during long trips.

These wheels are designed for bikepacking, real off-road riding and routes where stability and safety matter more than outright speed.
