BOMBTRACK BICYCLES 2020: I NUOVI MODELLI

La linea Bombtrack 2020 mostra molte eccitanti novità, la principale è il lancio di tre nuovi modelli! 

Bombtrack will release three new bikes in 2020. Each caters to a specific need, possibly even broadening the appeal of the Bombtrack range. 

The first is a women’s specific cyclocross bike, the Tension Wmn. Most smaller women’s specific bikes come with weird geometry, the result of attempting to combine a short top tube with sufficient toe clearance while still using the standard 700c wheel size. The Tension Wmn instead comes with a 650B wheelset in size XS and S, helping it maintain proper race geometry.

The next fresh model is the Beyond Junior, a bike Bombtrack has wanted to make for a very long time. It ’s the only drop bar equipped 24-inch wheel touring bike on the market and relies on the same proven touring geometry that makes the full-sized Beyond so capable and unique. Designed in collaboration with Microshift, it comes with their 1x9 wide-range groupset featuring child-specific short reach dropbar levers and a rear derailleur using reduced spring force. Of course, it’ll still have all the important braze-ons on the top tube, both sides of the downtube, and on the fork blades. However, as weight is such an important factor for a children’s bike, Bombtrack has chosen aluminum for the frame material.

The third new bike is the Cale, a hardtail trail mountainbike. It comes with a 120 mm MRP Ribbon SL fork, GX Eagle group, Magura Trail Sport hydraulic brakes, and an oversized 35 mm handlebar and stem setup. The frame is based on Bombtrack experience with the Beyond Plus models but uses a contemporary trail ready geometry (433 mm reach, 610 mm stack, 67.5° head angle, 74° seat angle, 1155 mm wheel base, 721 mm front center in a medium size). It also has some additional bikepacking mounts so it’s possible to ride into remote terrain, drop the bags and have some fun exploring new trails.
