Ritchey P-29er Frame – Team Edition
The Ritchey P-29er – Team Edition is a steel hardtail frame developed for modern XC and real-world endurance riding, where efficiency, reliability and technical coherence matter more than trends. It is a 29er platform designed around a 100 mm fork, 1x drivetrains and current standards, with no unnecessary compromises.
The construction philosophy is purely Ritchey: proprietary steel tubing, balanced geometry and functional choices aimed at long-term durability and predictable ride behaviour, even over long distances and varying terrain.
Construction highlights
WCS Logic Tubing
The frame is built using Ritchey Logic steel tubing that is triple-butted and heat-treated, developed in-house and optimised specifically for the TIG welding process to Tom Ritchey’s specifications. This results in a frame that prioritises structural strength, longevity and consistent ride quality, while remaining appropriate for XC use.
Integrated Seat Collar
The distinctive fastback seat stay / seat tube junction integrates the seat collar. This solution is both recognisable and functional, securely clamping the seatpost while reducing external parts and potential failure points.
